Gregg Bienstock, Esq.
Gregg Bienstock, Esq.CEO and Co-Founder, Board Member
Gregg is the CEO and a Co-Founder of Lumesis. He is a frequent speaker on municipal market compliance and has authored several articles on current regulatory issues impacting the municipal market. Prior to Lumesis, Gregg spent more than thirteen years with Ambac Financial Group where, most recently, he was responsible for Strategic Initiatives and previously served as Chief Administrative Officer and Employment Counsel.

Gregg is a 1991 graduate of Brooklyn Law School. He received his B.S. in Business and Economics from the University of Maryland. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of The Children’s Village, leads a fund-raising initiative (“Tri-ing for CV”) for the Children’s Village and is an amateur triathlete.

Timothy Stevens, CFA
Timothy Stevens, CFAPresident, COO and Co-Founder, Board Member
Prior to co-founding Lumesis, Tim spent over fourteen years with Ambac Financial Group where, most recently, he was a Senior Managing Director and led all Capital Markets activity including management of the company’s investment portfolios, the Guaranteed Investment Contract business, the Global Interest Rate Derivatives business and the Global Secondary Markets Group.

Tim holds a B.S. in Business and Economics from Lehigh University. He currently holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and was a licensed Certified Public Accountant during the years that he practiced accounting. He was also registered with FINRA as a General Securities Representative (Series 7) and a General Securities Principal (Series 24).

Vincent Aubrun
Vincent AubrunChief Technology Officer, VP of Engineering
Vincent joined Lumesis with over 25 years of experience in leading application and infrastructure architecture, software development, and systems integration of open source and proprietary technologies. Prior to joining Lumesis, Vincent was the CTO of Calypso Technology where he led the transformation of the core product technology and architecture leveraging Open Source solutions to deliver scalability, multi-tenancy and Web interface. He also created a SaaS offering based on the Calypso product.

Vincent holds a Diplôme d’ Ingénieur (EE) from l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications, Paris, France. He also holds a Master in Computer Science from New York University.

Scott Loomis
Scott LoomisChief Financial Officer
Scott joined Lumesis with more than 25 years of experience in leading finance and accounting and human resource functions for high growth, middle market companies in both the financial services and technology sectors. His prior experience includes serving as the CFO of O’Shaughnessy Asset Management, Controller of Legg Mason Capital Management, CFO of Aquilent, Inc. and Director of Finance for Impact Innovations Group. He began his career with Deloitte & Touche. Scott received his B.S. in Accounting from Mount St. Mary’s College in Maryland and is a licensed CPA.
Stacey Virzi
Stacey VirziChief Administrative Officer & Managing Director Client Services
Stacey Virzi joins Lumesis as an experienced client services executive with deep expertise in financial services and data businesses. She has over 11 years experience developing and managing a client service department. Stacey previously was the Vice President of Client Services at CreditRiskMonitor.com. She holds a BA from Rutgers University.
Mark Harries
Mark HarriesManaging Director,Business Development
Mark joined Lumesis with over 20 years of Municipal Fixed Income experience with a focus on sales, trading, and business development. Prior to joining Lumesis, Mark was a Vice President within the Capital Markets Sales Group at Ipreo LLC, where he was responsible for developing and building new business relationships with buy-side and sell-side firms. Mark holds a BS from St. Lawrence University.
John Gunther
John GuntherDirector, Business Development
John joined Lumesis with 10 years of experience in the financial technology space with a focus on sales and account management. Prior to joining Lumesis, John was Vice President of Sales at AlphaSense, a provider of financial search, indexing, and extraction technologies for structured and unstructured content. John began his career as an Account Manager at TheMarkets.com until it was was acquired by S&P Capital IQ in 2010. Subsequently, John was an Associate Director at S&P Capital IQ. John holds a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
Sudha Balla
Sudha BallaDirector, Data Engineering
Sudha leads development of data engineering and integration processes at Lumesis. In the past, she was part of bioinformatics research initiatives to identify meaningful patterns in large genomic data at the NIH and Sloan-Kettering Institute. Most recently, she worked as a senior software engineer to develop optimized employee scheduling algorithms for workforce management software at Timelink Inc. Sudha holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
Heather Queiroz
Heather QueirozDirector of Marketing
Heather joins Lumesis with over 20 years working in marketing and advertising. Her experience is diverse working across a variety of brands and verticals including Wells Fargo, IBM, and Visa. In addition, she has developed global award-winning campaigns for Ogilvy, Foote Cone and Belding, and Grey Advertising. She holds a B.S. in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Colorado.

Brian SiskoChairman of the Board
Mr. Sisko has more than 25 years of experience working with start-up and growth-stage companies having served as an executive officer, investor, external legal counsel, internal counsel, and consultant. As Chief Executive Officer and President of Safeguard Scientifics (NYSE:SFE), Mr. Sisko is responsible for all aspects of Safeguard’s operations, including the oversight of its partner companies. Mr. Sisko received a B.S. from Bucknell University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Steven J. GrenfellBoard Member
Mr. Grenfell, CPA, has more than 30 years of experience with start-up, growth-stage and multinational corporations as an auditor, consultant and senior member of management. As VP and Managing Director, Operations for Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. Mr. Grenfell is responsible for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures as well as ongoing support for Safeguard partner companies. Mr. Grenfell received a B.S. in Accounting from King’s College and sits on the boards of T-REX, Weblinc, Clutch, and Novasom.
Philip MoyerBoard Member
Mr. Moyer has more than 25 years of experience in financial technology and enterprise software having been a CEO, entrepreneur, angel investor and software developer. Previously, he was Managing Director at Safeguard Scientifics; President and CEO at EDGAR Online; and General Manager at Microsoft. Mr. Moyer holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and currently serves on the board of the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration, University of Pittsburgh.
Kate McDonoughAdvisory Board Member
Ms. McDonough joined Lumesis as an Advisory Board Member after retiring in 2007 from a 25 year career in municipal finance at Ambac Assurance Corporation. At Ambac, she served as a Senior Managing Director and co-head of the firm’s Public Finance business. Ms. McDonough currently serves as a public member on the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board. Ms. McDonough graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University with a BS in Accounting and earned her JD from Fordham Law School.
Joshua Laurito, CFAAdvisory Board Member
Mr. Laurito is an Advisory Board Member and a founding member of Lumesis. Previously, Josh was a Managing Director at RangeMark Financial Services where he was responsible for analysis of credit and interest rate derivative products. He has also held positions at Ambac Assurance and Merrill Lynch, and currently holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
